Sunflowers

And maybe

If we turned to the sun
We’d be more like sunflowers.
And maybe
If we looked pass
The grey clouds
We’d be more like sunflowers.
Like sunflowers,
Full of joy
Admiring the sunshine
Looking pass the flaws
Maybe we’d be happier.
Maybe it would be easier
To forget
To forgive
To accept yourself.
But we are everything
But sunflowers.
We hurt others,
We look at others
And at your own flaws,
We struggle,
We are wreckless,
We are thoughtless,
We are egocentric,
We are dishonest,
We never forgive.
Because sunflowers,
Always look for the sun,
Even in the heavy storm.
While we don’t know
Where our sun is,
We don’t know where
Our happiness is,
We don’t know where
The love got lost,
We lost our essence,
We lost our sun.
